All our members are bound by our Members' Code, Code of Practice and Code of Ethics so you can trust that your animal is in safe hands with an ACAT approved practitioner.
In order to foster best practice and high quality care to all animals receiving treatment
Members will always work with veterinary approval and will not offer a diagnosis unless qualified to do so.
All members will hold an approved qualification to practise.
All members are required to take part in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure their knowledge and standards of practise are kept up to date.
All members will ensure your animal is treated professionally and with care and consideration.
All members are required to work with other professionals in ways that are best suited to the benefit of your animal.
All members will carry out full records of the work they do with your animal.
All members will fully explain to you the work they intend to carry out and will outline any possible responses you may see in your animal.
All members will fully respect your confidentiality as a client and always abide by the GDPR.
All members are required to hold up to date Public Liability and Malpractice Insurance.
